    2000 Tahoe Z71 Old body style, 4WD, 5.7.

I posted this here a while back any the consensus was that the CV shaft/joint was shot. I finally got around to replacing it today. The noise ( clicking and rattling) is back.It is only when the tires are rolling and also happens when 4WD is engaged. Could this be the bearing as it started doing it the day i took the plow off. Any help would be much appreciated.

Is it only when in 4wd? If so, front driveshaft u-joints.

Sounds like it's the wheel bearing. Easy to check just jack up the wheel and see if you can wiggle it (make sure ball joints and tie rods are tight) if the wheel moves and everything else is tight you just figured it out:nod:
