What is a typical amount of front end drop when the plow is lifted? I measured my F250 with the plow on the ground. Both sides were 37" to the top of the wheel well. After I raised the plow it measured about 36 5/8". So the front end dropped about 3/8". The plow is a fisher 7 1/2' RD MM1. truck is a 2001 F250 with a v-10.

With Timbrens installed on my Powerstroke, its about the same. Be happy with what you have.

That truck will not have any problem handling your plow.

Mine feels like it drops a foot and half. I measured just like you did one day and was shocked that it was only about 1/2". You're fine, nothing to worry about.
