Anyone changed there front diff fluid in the front? How much fluid and is there a drain plug or do I have to take a cover off? Also, can I just refill it with the oil bottles or do I need special funnels or something to refill it? Thanks!

    03 2500hd ?

if yes its easy to do.

pull drain plug. let drain till you happy. put plug back in. and tighten it.

best if you get a cheep suction/blow gun to refill.

use around 2.5 qt of 75-90 synthetic and refill till just before flow out of fill hole.

install fill plug and have a nice day.

reason i know is 2x i fix cars/trucks all day

and i just did one last weekend.

if you have the aam rear axle its just as easy. thay have a drain plug under the center of the diff. and a fill plug at the cover. same oil and just over 4 qt.
