I have a 1986 Ford F250 HD with the conventional, cable operated Western plow setup.

I will be purchasing a 1997 Ford F250 HD (last year of "box" body style). Will the setup off my '86 swap right onto the '97?

Either way I'd make it work with some cutting/welding, but I'm wondering how much (if any) work is involved.

It wont bolt right onto the '97 but with a little modification as well as a few mods to the bumper brackets to get the bumper bolted back onto the conventional mount it'll work.
