I did a search on "Fluid Level" and didn't find any thing.

I have a Meyers E-60 and E-47..How do I know when the fluid level is right?

Should be about 1" below the top of the hole.

How about on a old style Western pump with the cable control's? I filled it to the top with the lift all the way down is this correct?

I just down loaded the operating manual from Western's web site and it seems as though I did it right. They recommend filling it with Mobil 1 ATF (for cold weather) to the top when the cylinder is down. Good guess :).
