When is the best time to change the fluid in a FloStat pump? I'm worried about the accumulation of moisture since we're not done with the warmer weather yet so I'm thinking it's still too early.

Change your oil late fall just before the first snow. Also pull your reservoir and clean & inspect the magnet for metalic debree. You should change your fluid once a year to be sure you have no freeze up problems. Also check your filler cap, you should not be able to blow out through it because it has a 5 psi pressure valve in it to prevent moist air from breathing in and out. It should only allow air / fluid to come out if pressure exceeds this 5 psi. If you loose or break the cap don't replace it with a plug or a cheap mushroom type vent. The plug will cause overpressure damage and the normal vent plug will allow the reservoir to breath too much and allow moisture into your fluid. Hope that helps.
