I’m looking to mount a fisher v plow on a 2008 gmc 3500. From what I found I need a set of 7169 mounts. I have these mounts but I’m not sure if they are the 7161 mounts from a previous truck or a set of 7169 mounts. Can anyone tell me which ones they are.

    Fairly certain they're 7169

Personally I find it hard to tell the difference visually without the other to compare it to. At some point I measured from tow hook hole to mounting pin on center but who knows where I tucked that away...

One exception the newer versions of the 7169 have a curve to them which they never made on the 7161.

From what I can find the 7169 mounts space the plow further from the grille and bumper.

Correct, I did some digging too, that's exactly the reason for the change. Those are in fact the 7161's that you have, without question.

those are 7169, you can tell because the angle iron where the tow hook bolts go in are slanted and not straight, they made some revisions of the 7169 plates but those plates in that picture will fit the 2008.

That would be great if they will work. Time to get some paint on them
