I have a 7'6" mm and the solenoid keeps melting off the positive cable after about an hour of plowing. I put on a new solenoid and it is fine for another hour or so and it melts the plastic part of the solenoid on the positive side. Cant figure it out? Any ideas?

First a bad ground or one not to the negative of the battery.

    Second bad plow motor

Third, sludge in the pump unit
