Hi All,

Rookie mistakes made when changing the fluid for the first time. Didn't have plow connected to the truck and when I drained the lift ram fluid, the headgear collapsed forward. How would I get this back in an upright position so I can drive the truck into the receiver brackets?

Are you saying its locked in the down position or it moves freely and keeps falling forward?

When changing the oil, the lift ram collapsed as the oil cam out of the hose. Now the head gear is forward instead of upright (if that make sense.) can I connect plugs to truck and use the controller to stand it up?

No. You would just push the tower up by hand. If there is no fluid in the cylinder, itll move freely

I tried but it wouldn't move. Maybe I need to push harder? Will try again in the morning

Make sure the plow is in float. Otherwise Either pull the pin at the top of the cylinder out or remove the lift hose
