2005 84" snow thrower rated for standard flow. Started leaking fluid. Pulled the motor and the shaft is wobbly. Can these be rebuilt? Best price I've found for a new one is about 1k shipped. Anyone have a better source? This is the motor:

Most any hydraulic place can rebuild it. Surplus hydraulic places may be able to come up with an interchange.

Different style but our spinner motors start leaking after a period of time. Between the labor and the cost of the rebuild kit, it's not worth it.

But those aren't $1k either.

Local shop took it apart - said the inner shaft broke.
600 for a new shaft - if they can get it.
850ish for a new motor - 100 days out. Other vendors said the same thing - months before they can get anything.
Guess I got till next winter to figure out what I want to do.
