Im wondering what my truck is worth, looking in to getting rid of it. It is a 2008 Ford f-250 Diesel. XLT package 4x4. It has 26,000 miles on it. It is an Extended cab short box. I put a 2" lift in it. Just wondering

they are rolling thru the auction at 27-28k for that exact configuration. so a few grand more i guess, $30k seems a fair deal.

Around here you can get out the door with a 2010 for close to that. Sticker is $40k Minus rebates and incentives with the lower interest rates you will pay less for the 2010 over the 08. Not saying your trucks not worth 30. Its hard to sell a truck this new and not have to give it away.

In 07 I sold my 05 Duramax Crewcab LS for $28,000. It had 16,000 miles on it.
At that time dealers had them on the lots for $35k with new ones priced in the 50s
I sold because the fuel prices were riseing. At the time it was 3.50 a gallon.(went up over $5 a gallon here) Luckily I bought it when the employee priceing was in effect so I made a little more than I owed.
