AM looking at a 92 F250 4x4 with a 351 ,great looking truck ,took it for a test drive ,pulls strong, its on a used lot and the guy is useless for information, can anyone tell what kind of gas mileage i can get out of that motor and secondly is there anything i should be looking for that might be a problem on those trucks,i do plan to put a plow on it next fall ,

I would say you would average 10 or so

You don't buy a truck for gas mileage, you need to work it to justify the high price of running it.

Does that year have a solid front axle or TTB? I believe it is twin traction beam which are less desirable for plowing.

How many miles? Does it have the OD transmission? I know these are a weak point as well.
