At the tender age of 59 I am getting my first truck plow. I think I am getting a good deal on a meyers ez mount express but I've been reading some negative things about that particular mount. The plow I am buying is about 3 years old and the dealer says all the newest modifications to that mount have been added. My question is: Have all the bugs been worked out of this particular mount by now or are there still issues. Thanks

Where you going for yours? I just had one installed a couple weeks ago at Storks auto in Bernville, PA. Haven't had the chance to use it yet, but it seems to be a solid plow and a good investment. We'll see....

I too was hesitant with all the negative comments I saw, but it seems that the majority of the problems came with the wireless controller. Thats gone and they're now hardwired.

Good luck.

As long as your plow has the hardwire upgrade, you will be in good shape! The problems experienced were because of the XP Controller! Make sure you have a black pistol grip controller, and everything will be fine! Having the ability to take it off in less than 20 seconds is reason enough to buy the Xpress.

do you have wiring diagram. I bought an ez mount express used and I got the wiring for my headlights I have a 07 dodge 3500 desiel. I can not get the lights to function properly. They come on bright when you plug in the main plug on brush guard and them they dim without the truck lights on. I do not know what to do with the blinker wires, the purple wire, or the blue wire. With these hooked up will the lights function properly. So far the remote seems to funtion properly sometimes. The mount plug seems to not be getting power all the time or something is there a new plug or do I need to suck it up and get the hardwire kit or over $1000. It seems like to me that the mount is hunting a ground? I am frustrated! I can't get ahold of the seller imagine that.

ps the seller told me the bought the plow new last year 09' it has never pushed or even been dragged on pavement. So it should have been fixed i guess. The controller just seems to never know what its doing. Sometimes it says the lights are hooked up and the plow sometimes no plow or no lights
