I have a snow ex vmax 7550 . I spread magic salt its kind of damp in CT. Not spreading well. What are the thoughts on if I took out the extension baffle. Manual says to remove that for sand salt and moist material. Just wondering what everyone else doing with it

Not sure if that will help. I think the salt in CT is more of the problem this year then anything. Im currently running a smaller Snow Ex 6000 and it bridges up all the time over the auger. Its done it with straight salt and magic salt. Also having hard time keeping it drom freezing. I had to chop a full load

Yes it's the salt that's the problem. Someone made mention that it is a problem with the anti caking additive or not any?????
