So I replaced seals ram and top cover new lights and connections new angle rams and motor. hooked up everything put it on truck now plow won't move left or right up and down and interior and plow lights flicker when pressing controller. What can possible program. Looked at a couple things but I'm stuck

When I put the new seals and ramand top cover on the top cover was so tight that it took a while to get on can the new seals be too tight

For motor on pump yes same as when I took them off and same as other plow

So I re did the posts now they work now I'm having a trouble Now the problem is a ram is not going completely down if you think that's solenoid problem

Is it in float?
Is the blade on the ground?

It's in flow in the blades on the ground and they're still about 5" of ram exposed with chains tight

What happens when you push down on the ram in float?

Nothing it's solid no movement

If you raise it, then hit lower and it goes down, lower has to be working.
Maybe jump on the ram and see if it lowers.

Yes goes down but only to certain point and chains are tight when raise it extends high then normal

Think it can be the filter clogged or maybe something moved when re reassemble the ram

What If you adjust the chain while its up,
Essentially seeing if the chain pulls the ram further down

Way to much tension on the chain chain is tight while resting and the ram seems to be over extended

So plow now works but ram does not go down after the weight is taken off the ram? Correct? There is a quill (lower adjustment). But with new top cap the ram will be very difficult to lower by hand. How quickly does the plow drop when lowering?

Think I'll have to take apart again to check the ram and cylinder is seated promptly

It drops a little slow but I was thinking that would be it I'm gonna check the filters and see if there's anything clogged in there but I'll check lower adjustment as well

Open quill 1 turn and see if it make a difference.

Each time I’ve done a complete rebuild (including new cap seals) on my E-60 it’s lowered harder afterwards. The first few times I’ve put it in float and had to use some “leverage” to collapse the lift ram.
