Quick question for the ford Goo Roo's. I have a 1997 Ford F-250HD Last year of the old body. Whats happening is the truck doesn't want to shift. It always seems like it has a load, as if you were hauling a trailer or a pallet of salt. It also sounds like its winding out, kind of like a turbine before it shifts. What the hell is going on? The truck is a 5.8 (351), 4x4, 410 rear, 166.500 miles. Thanks ahead of time.

I would take it to a transmission shop and have them look at it. Could be a sensor or something that's bad.
