Good morning to all, I hope your 2016 season has been safe. I have several tons of completely dry salt that has set in a shed for a couple years with a closed door. I was wondering if i add salt to the pile that may have moisture or damp will it affect the dry material much. Should I use the loader to mix the material together or just work off what comes out the door first. Any one with experience in the past please advise. Thanks in advance.

What is the condition of the salt you are adding? Has it sat out in the rain or snow? If not you should be fine just putting it in without mixing.
