Picked up a used 02 gmc 3500 never plowed . Installed a mm2 truckside harness did not hook plow to truck at that time. A few days later noted the drivers headlight on the TRUCK was dim .......ditch side was bright . Found we had a shorted control unit which we replaced , was used and assumed it was bad. Week or two later noted same headlight dim , this time the 15 amp fuse is blown on the TRUCK fuse box on fender . Replaced and blew second fuse in a day or two. Have removed fuse box , run over both truck and plow harness and cannot locate any ground or chaf.

If the fuse is blown and the headlight is still dim is there power backfeeding somewhere ?

Do the plow lights work properly? Only guess is maybe one of the connectors is flipped. But not sure how that will affect truck lights.
