I'm considering buying this midweight Western in this thread http://www.plowsite.com/showthread.php?t=88724, and he says he's missing most of the truck-side stuff. I checked with CPW, and the price for their truck-side kit is a little over 1,100.00. I'm just wondering if I'll need all of it. If you look at the thread I posted above, but scroll all the way down towards the bottom there are more pictures of the plow. If any of you can look at it and determine if I need the whole truck-side kit would you tell me please? If I do need it, that will definitely change what I'm willing to pay for the plow. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

yes you will need all truckside parts since he said it has no wiring controller or mount.

I agree, you need everything on the truck side. If you're paying $3500 for the plow and another $1100 for the mount and wiring its probably not worth it. You could get the whole package from cpw for less than that I think.

No, I agree with you completely. That's why I wanted to know if I needed the whole truckside kit. I wouldn't mind picking it up but it's got to be at the right price, because for what the OP's asking, 3,500, plus the 1,100 for the truck-side kit, plus shipping, I'd be at close to 5 grand for a midweight plow. Equipment Specialists has the same plow for 3,738.00 and it comes with the new (better) lights and a warranty. So, this may not workout for me. We'll see when the guy gets back on Monday. If he's willing to come WAY down in price it may still be worth my while, if not I'll just hve to pass it up. In any event, thanks for answering my questions guys, I appreciate it.
