My less than three year 575 frozen up the other day. I took it all apart and the transmisson broke free and spins freely. So I am now going to paint it. When I took the motor and tranny out, I took the the inspection cover off and found debris and corrosion. I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SEALED UNIT. Gonna load with grease and put back together. Next salter I will shop around. Any input would greatly help.

I would bye a rebuild kit if you already have it apart and change all bearings

Even though this is a month old thread, I agree.
