I'm looking for a used Fisher plow..9'. Trying to get the many different models cleared up. Power Angle, Minute Mount, MM 1 & 2. Not to mention if they make V plows.

The used market, current owners are not all that knowledgeable.

If someone can explain the different models?

The original conventional is a Speedcast all hydraulic with a pump mounted under the hood, belt driven, plow frame usually stays attached to the truck and the plow itself is removable.

The first Minute Mount setups were the same as the Speedcast only exception was the plow frame now was detachable and the hydraulic lines had quick disconnects to remove the setup.

Minute Mounts were changed sometime to all electric(2 plug) , and the pump and hydraulics were mounted to the plow frame.

The later Minute Mounts changed the pump design, and were 3 plug setup.

Minute Mount 2 has a lever to release and engage the pins that hold it to the mounts, all MM2's are 3 plug, this is the latest MM design.

Fisher does make V plows, (Xtreme V) and the older (EZV), as well as the XLS.

Im sure there are more things about the diference I left out too, but it gives you the general idea.

If you go to the fisher website you can look up and see all the different models. They still have pics and info on all the old stuff too.
