Difference between the 05 Ram 2500 and 3500

    I have an 05 Ram 2500 CTD.......can anyone tell me specifically what is different on a 3500......beside the GVW....... Are the axles different or is it just the suspension????

    From what I remember, and this was some time ago, It's just an extra spring in back!

    On a 2500 and 3500 single rear wheel its basically nothing other then GVWR. Depending on the packages ordered it could have slightly heavier springs.

    I think 2500 has 10.5 rear and the 3500 has 11.5 rears

    He's asking about a Cummins it's a 11.5"
