Is the only difference between the two the extra shock absorber and the height. Is it worth the extra height. I am looking to put it on a 2006 Dodge 2500 Short Bed. Was thinking the super duty cause it weights about 80lbs less.

Don't forget the increased, more aggressive blade curl and the better cutting edges.

If your truck can handle it and you can find one, I would say definitely go for it, if you are in the market for a straight blade.

The blade height is due to the 8" cutting edge. When you wear down the edge your back to owning a Super Duty with an extra shock. The XT Straight Blade has since been discontinued by Boss.
