For some reason I ride with my neighbor in his 2003 3500 Dually with cummin.

He tell me he replace #1 auto transmission then fail then he rebuilt again.

Now it bad again. It have 112,000 miles.

I could notice VERY Slow shift from 3 to 4 and I watch him push on gas pedal then lift on pedal then it in 4 gear.

He tell me he not happy with Dodge auto transmission.

He tow 5 wheels camper 40 footer 3 axles. He turn off overdrive when tow camper.

    No burnt fluid in transmission.

Depends on what tranny he has in it. Does he own a S.O with a 47RE or an H.O with a 48RE. Also who rebuilt the tranny? Is the truck turned up with a programmer? So if he has to rebuild it now out his pocket tell him to buy a good TC. Also get a good VB. Also maybe another tranny cooler. How much is he towing with it?

Also I sent you a PM with a Dodge CTD site that can be very helpful.

Oh and if he wants to band aid that tranny and fix the issue with 3-4. Go buy a bottle of LUcas. Stuff works wonders.
