What do you find to be the best product for sidewalks? Can you make your own brine in a pump sprayer? Don't want to end up pitting the concrete, what do you use? Thanks, Chris
The really best way is to have a heat loop below the pour BUT,
all of it depends on the quality of the cure, whether it was sealed,
and the deicier used.
In order to reduce damage to the bare minimum sand and a small
amount of calcium or halite is always a good bet and using a
motorised sweeper to remove all the fresh snow is a plus to keep
it from freezing to the concrete due to temperature swings during
the overnight periods.
