I have a 8 Foot straight blade the I got last year. I love it compaired to my old "yellow" ones. The only thing i am debating on is which deflector to get. I know Boss offers a Plastic. Does anyone have the one?

Both work well, but I like the rubber one on my V-plow, The plastic one on my Meyer's plow started cracking. JMO

Heard and have seen bad things about the plastic ones. Also heard some guys love them, but majority say they aren't worth it.

I had a plastic one for less than a half of season. They work OK as long as you don't plan on doing any stacking.

I switched to a rubber one, and it has been on for 3.5 seasons now with no problem.
