I plow for our DPW, and that video made me think I was at work! Nice job to the guy that made it. Captured the feel of plowing for hours on end (understaffed - jobcuts - big surprise,Ha!) with the way it rolled from night to day and back. Big thing the video doesn't show are all the things you have to watch for when driving one of those rigs.

plus dealing with the people when you take out there mail box lol xysport

Sometimes I would like to take the people that comeplan for a ride. To see what it takes to keep a road open. Nights when u work 14-15 hours driveing in 1st & 2nd gear because its snowing so hard you cant see the ditchs. Maybe then people would change there out look on a plow driver

yes, I fully agree with you. They b*tch when you knock a mailbox but they don't realize that you're on your 48th hour being awake and it's all so they can wake up late for work and drive 2x too fast for the conditions and get to work safely. I plow for a town being overrun with yuppies and it sure makes for some grumpy people when you plow the entire road into their driveway 4 times per storm. It's only gonna get worse as the season drags on and people get sick of shoveling :dizzy:
