Curb Guards

    Since I got my question answered regarding a snow deflector, let's go with this one...

    Those with STRAIGHT plows (like me), how many are running with curb guards?

    Are they as important as a snow deflector? Worth the $$?

    I like them. Not needed unless you have to wing the snow away from the curb or sidewalk. My only complaint is that they tend to ride up on the concrete by wheelchair ramps if you are running a new blade. I've had a set last for 5 years. We have made our own that lasted only 2 years because we didn't get them heat treated or hardened.
