Creative salt storage ideas for job sites?

Has anyone come up with a clever salt storage area for job sites?

Out salt trucks come in loaded so that is not an issue but what i am looking for is a way to refill tractor mounted drop spreader, snowrator salt hopper and even a small trailer hitch mounted salter on the back of small loader... on a job site.
We have sea cans at a few of our jobs we keep equipment in and trying to come up with a good way to load a few times during storms. In the past a pile of 5g pails was the only solution. For liquids we put a tote on top of sea cans and let gravity be our friend. Works great. Looking for something similar for say 1000lbs of salt. Need it dry and some sort of gravity or grain chute type of set up so its easy for staff in bad conditions and can be reloaded between storms. Hand shoveling from a pile or lifting many 5 gal pails sucks during a storm.

We have bins made for salt with a fitted area for a lock. 5 gallon buckets to scoop it out and it’s able to work for loading tailgate spreaders and to be used to store sidewalk salt as well.

How big are the bins, what have you done to prevent moisture from getting in and freezing it up?

They fit 600 to 800 pounds per bin and they are made for salt storage so no issues with moisture or freezing up. Bought them from northern tool the big yellow box made by Mejer. Home Depot sells them as well as order only items.

We already have those bins all over at our places. Pull littlekubota tractor with bauman salter or snowrator up to sea can and walk out with prefilled 5 gal pails and end up dumping in 2,4,6,8 .. pita. Just thought maybe someone out there had created a better fill plan.
