Wanted to start a thread to hear the funniest and the craziest things that have happend to us as we plow.. I'm sure these stories will be good. One funny thing that happened to me was while I was plowing a strip mall parking lot: I had a crack head approach my truck and say" Hey man, ya know I'll shovel for ya for 2 hours for $5.00" I know a few more people that will shovel too for the same price" :D

Funny

Plowing some apartments in a shady part of town I had a crackhead in a wheelchair roll out in front of me. I yelled at him he better watch it & he starts asking for help, and that he lost $12 somewhere. After telling him several times no I could not help him he says his chair broke & his buddies fixed it, so he leans over & shows me he is sitting on a cookie sheet, so I start laughing, couldn't help it. I call my buddy at the other end of complex & he starts calling me a liar, until a half hour later & he calls be back & is rolling laughing because the guy just went & gave him the same story. :help:

car in the driveway

Went to plow a first pass on my route in an 18" blizzard. Minivan was smack dab in the middle of the driveway covered in snow. Figured I'd come back later. Upon returning the van was still there. Oh well, see you tomorrow. Third trip back, van still there, so I call. The old lady says the van is her sons and he's staying over for a few days while he recovers from ass surgery. ASS SURGERY?? I say. Yep. And could I clean off the minivan and move it when I plow the driveway....Three trips by the drive, clean off and move the van to plow 18" of snow and she complained when I charged her double. I love plowing for the old timers.

Another driver and i were plowing a commercial acct in a rougher neighborhood and both had noticed this older Impala that had made several trips back and forth past the acct. We finished the stuff in front of the building and had moved to the back area which had only one way in and out. We still kept seeing that impala driving back and forth, finished what we were doing and had pulled next to each other to B.S. for a few when that impala rolled into the drive attempting to block our only way out. Everybody that was in that car started rolling out the doors and the other driver and i just started laughing. We both threw the trucks into gear and headed right for them, there was just enough room on either side of that car for us to get out so we each took a side. They were either trying to climb the building, jumping on top of the car or diving for the snow banks. We didnt hit any of them but the other driver had to close one of the car doors for them so he could get out. They never did make another apperance while we were plowing there.
