Has anyone tried the new Cooper Discover Snowclaw or the Goodyear Wintercommand Lt.

I will need new tires for next season just wondering if anybody has any real world experience with either of these?

We have the Snowclaw on a sander rig. Up front I’m not a cooper fan. So far my driver likes them a lot. Good grip, so far decent wear. Remind me end of season and I’ll give you an update.
Both look a little too all seasony to me.

It seems all the snow tires look that way now. I also keep coming back to the General Grabber Arctic Lt

KVSTON, are yours studded??

I'd call them summer tyres here.
I have ran Cooper Discoverer M & S for many years plowing snow . Those Snowclaws do look like All Season Tires .

No jewelry allowed!
We tried one set cause the local tire dealer gave us a big discount to try one set. So far so good, but only 3 snow events so far. Have had 5 freezing rain events though and they did well…
Kvston, whats your normal go to tire?
Blizzaks won't leave you stuck. $$$$$ but, you get what you pay for
We vary on tires depending on type of rig but for pickups the Falken AT/W has been good, Yokohama AT/X is also good.
Wranglers suck.
Cooper At3 get you stuck.
Firestone Transforce, summer only.
Pirelli AT/R is good but wearing somewhat fast on our dump-good price point though.
Thunderer AT/R not good, even studded.
Treadwright products suck-bad warranty.
Hankook MT good except on glare ice.

Don’t have much experience with snowtires.
I’ve never gotten many miles out of any Cooper tire..

Have those on our service truck...pretty decent winter traction.

I forgot we had them Hankook’s too. They do offer above average traction for an AT tire

Yep,Hankook makes some great tires. Been running their m&s for years,on winter truck, but because of living in the mountains.
But studded,as said, they are not good on ice.
Yokohamas for summer tires,love them.
Pretty sure I have Hankooks for drive tyres on both my Sterling and 750, best snow tread pattern on 22.5s I've seen. And they work great.
Both Goodyear and Cooper are high-quality summer tires. Goodyear is known for its innovative tire technologies and strong presence in motorsports, while Cooper focuses on providing reliable and affordable tires that offer good value for money.
Thanks for bumping up an old thread but summer tires have no place on a plow truck.
