Not sure what the maintenance earlier today was all aboot, but the "developers" still haven't fixed the Alerts.

I keep clicking on them, opening them up and am being told there is still 1 unread. When I click on the Alerts, there aren't any new ones.

Yeah, I know, they're "working" on it.

While we're at it, when I inserted a pic yesterday, the option to have a thumbnail or full size was showing so I clicked full size which resulted in the same pic being posted twice. If it's already full size, why is there an option to choose which results in the same picture being posted twice?

Seems to me some time over the last mont attaching a pic changed to automatically inserting it I. The text box as a full size, as opposed to having to select one or the other. That’s all I got

Sew mulch anger... Probably why you hit it twice as it didn't show up in the amount of time you were expecting...

This in turn probably delayed you from getting to another thread on another forum that folks expect your reply in a timely fashion.

I can clearly see where this would frustrate you to open a special thread on this.

And then when you replied to his special alert thread, it sent him an alert that is probably also messed up...

There are weekly updates on Mondays and Wednesdays. These updates can put the site into maintenance mode, typically it is only offline for a few minutes while the software is updated.

The developers are working on a wide range of issues and performance upgrades at the same time. The alerts bug is still a high priority, but they are also rolling out other regular updates that are not always 'user facing'.

The alerts bug should be fixed in the coming weeks, we just do not have an exact date at the moment.

Just me, but I'd be working on the functionality issues that users have been complaining about for 3 months before performance or non-user facing issues.

But hey, what do I know, the company I own has only been around since before computers were a thing...much less the interweb. Still have some customers that have been with us for twice as long as Vertical Scope has been in bizness. Guess we should work on performance stuff before serving the customers.
