I am going back and forth on this. I am looking at a 2007 chevy 2500 HD diesel for plowing. I am also looking at a 2006 ford F-350 also diesel. Any suggestions?

How about my 09 3500 srw with 80K and a 8.5 stainless X-treme Vee. It also has a alum flatbed with weathergaurd toolboxes. $27500

Why invest in a diesel just to plow your driveway?

The Ford will hold up to plowing better, the Chevy will have the better engine...UNLESS...the Ford has had the right engine enhancements. Namely, better head gaskets, head bolts, and EGR delete. If those have been done, or you want to do them yourself ($2500 parts and labor I would guess?) then the Ford is the hands down best choice.

    Just personal opinion.
