I have an outside temp readout on the rear view mirror on my '05 Silverado. The problem is, the most important I need it, during a snowstorm, the plow causes it to give a bogus readout. Do any of you use an infrared to check ground temp and for recording in your log?

You can also move the temp sensor on your truck from behind the grill to a location not affected by the diverted air flow over the blade
