Changing coolant/antifreese

    I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, Went to drain the antifreeze today,turned the petcock and nothing came out. Any help would be great.

    Sometimes the drain plugs will get plugged up with crap.You also have to pull them out some before it will drain.Make sure the rad cap is off so that vacuum isn't holding the coolant in.Fully unscrew the plug and pull and wiggle it around until it starts to drain.

    did the petcock turn or only the wings on the petcock

    worst come to worst you can always remove the lower hose

    just have a big bucket to catch the old stuff
