No dice, back ordered as well. Thinking of putting my name on 2 of them now... Lol
Bearings are gone on the SSV broom. New ones have been ordered. I axed if he ordered Juan or dos sets...only Juan. Thinking it would be wise to have spares sitting on the shelf.

Back to the Boss issue...any Juan know if this is a problem on the 10'?

Helped my customer upgrade his rtv. I just bought his old one, cause not a scratch on it and only 150Hrs. The dealer offer wasn't up to snuff so pretty sure I can flip it by the end of the day. The 4 seater feels like a Cadillac though, not my idea of a workhorse.

I'm giving serious thought about a crew cab UTV because hauling 2 dogs and a couple rifles in a single cab is a little tight, just worried about ground clearance and getting high centered but a lift kit and taller tires takes care of that.

We broke a skid steer glass the other night loading snow.
I have replaced one before and couldnt remember where I bought it till I did some email searching.

Must say this site is about 1/2 the price of the dealer.

Saw this NOS 2018 sidemaxx for sale at a local dealer, been sitting on a pallet since 2018. Its for a Kubota tractor, but it is mounted on a holder 992, hope it fits on the older style machine. Nothing like getting a new blade once winter is almost over.

It was such a good deal hard to pass up $5900, we got quoted 14,500 for a new blade., It has carbide cutting edges too not sure if that is a standard option for live edge blades, we have not owned one before.

yes 60" width, for our holder articulating tractor.

One thing I wish this plow had is the 18" hydraulic blade extension (See picture bellow) That would be awesome for clearing wider sidewalks, and to more easily clear snow off the curbs. This machine is used where there are lots of wide side walks and open areas. So any extra snow being cleared in one pass when you have lots of people walking behind you would be a huge advantage.

What I have heard, metal pless does not make many of these blades with that option, I am guessing because it is very expensive, and most likely not worth it for most businesses or municipalities.

that is a pretty cool feature.
We install a piece of rubber horse mat on the back side and front side of the blade.
it get the snow off the curb on a narrow blade and it also helps alot if you going around a post, pillar or you move a little towards a building or something.
You will not do any damage with the blade as the metal is covered with rubber.
It keeps the operators that extra six inches away from the building and plowing forward or backdragging if you get too close the rubber folds back and covers the blade.

I also swap my factory cutting edges out for stainless edges on the sidewalk plows and nick the corners on a 45
the stainless is to prevent the rust stains on the concrete. The cut really helps on bricked paths.

I thought of doing a 60" blade with a 54" cutting edge and the corners being all rubber.

you need to pull up to these unplowed country lanes
start the camera and then say "hold my cookie tin"
and send it

Your dog in the front seat with a helmet on would be good.
get one that matches your helmet.

lol

I really like the ones that say "we go away for the winter, can we call you when we need you.?"
Yes, but it's not the same price!
This morning I got a text, we come home tomorrow and the cleaning lady can't get in can you plow it today?
-Yes, when does the cleaning lady leave?
-We were hoping you could pull her out.
-No guarantees...

It's 11° here and sunny. One of the few I get to relax a little. Truck is clean, it's a thawed out muddy road in and 45 km 1 way from my house. It's a 2 monthly payments for excellent service all year for this 1 push....lol. I also suggested they tip their cleaning lady for trudging through 3 ft drifts to clean their house.
