    Hi RKS
I had the same thing happen to me, sitting at a red light and got rear ended by a guy in a old S-10. He got the ticket, my first job with the spreader, had just bought it from a guy in Chicago who had it for a year. I called my insurance company, was told to get the rear glass fixed and they would call me about the spreader. I took alot of pictures and started to get prices on parts. I needed a new spinner assy, new rear cross member and a auger. They agreed to pay for it if I did the work myself. At that time I did not have commercial insurance on my truck or the plow and spreader. It cost the insurance company about $3000.00 in all to fix the truck and spreader, but they then made me buy commercial ins or I would not be cover in the future should something happen to the truck or plow and spreader while I was plowing. You should be ok, hope you have a receipt for the spreader or can prove what you paid for it. I emailed my adjuster all of the pictures and price's for the repair's so she didn't have to make the trip.

    Good Luck Mike

Well did the cops give her a citation for it? If they did theres no way they can do that. Whatever damage she caused is their responsibility.

You need to tell your ins agent what is happening with the other ins company and see if they can straighten out the other ins co's problem.
She reddened you! Go after her! Call her and her ins agent every day.

Let your agent do all the work for you, next time she or her agent calls give them the # to your agent, they think if they try and work on you they will get you to settle for nothing. Keep on your agents but to keep on hers.

    failure to control

Dude..you are being tested by the ins company...they all try to blow you off so they can keep the numbers down..they are going to try and see how tenacious you are. Regardless of what they say..She failed to maintain control of her vehicle..By hitting you in the rear she is completely at fault. Even if you jambed on your brakes w/o taillights ..she still struck you in the rear. Not all police agencies allow the officers to write a citation without seeing the infraction for themselves. Don't let that be any factor in pursuing your claim. Keep up with the calls and letters..let them know they should be glad your not seeing a chiropractor or orthopedic specialist...
    Good luck Jack
