Calcium chloride pellets, I know they melt down to about -25 but I have been hearing that it works fast but it does not last as long as potassium. So in the long run you will use more product. Is this true?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I prefer flakes over pellets. Pellets roll off the area I am treating so it takes more material.
