I'm looking at buying a 1986 Chevy K30 truck equipped with an (I assume) 1986? Western cable operated power pack (conventional mount). The control in the cab seems to not make the plow move right (cable sticking) sometimes- have to wiggle controller around to make it go for a bit. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Check the cable for sharp bends. Go to the western site and look at the guide. It will tell you how to adjust the cable and make sure its set up right.
