Hi everyone, I am (probably) going to be buying a used 8.5' fisher extreme vee ss. It is 2 years old the guy wants $3700. Is that price fair, and what should i check on the plow to make sure it is in good condition?

It that push plates, wiring and blade? check the cutting edges... new they're 6".. to replace them they cost over $300 in my neck of the woods... if you can hook it up to the truck and try all the functions.. the price is ok but you should be able to get it alittle cheaper...I think new they're almost $6K.... why do you need a v blade?

if the plow has not been beat to death, it sounds like a good price.

Check to see if the center hinge pin is bent.
