So I'm looking to here from the guys that have been buying machines for a while. I am looking to buy a backhoe something in the size range of a John Deere 310/410 sized machine. So I'm looking for some info to make sure everything I buy is above board. When you buy a backhoe do you get a title with it?? Or just a bill of sale ??
Also is anything differnt if you buy it out of state.

Heavy equipment is just that equipment. Usually no title, just a bill of sale. I also keep a hand written receipt of all my equipment with the sellers signature on it for my records. I have never purchased out of state, but I can't imagine anything would be different. A bill of sale and a receipt should be good enough. Good Luck!
