How do you collapse the Angling Rams so I can put the pin in to the sector in the A-frame? Both angling rams are fully extended. I disconnected the hoses from the pump and tried to push on the plow to move it but had no luck. Do I need to disconnect the hoses completely?

If both cylinders are extended, then both are FULL of fluid. You need to remove the hose from one and collapse (drain) it. Then hook everything back up. Cycle it left/right a few times to get the air back to the pump. You'll need to top off the pump after you get the air out.
