Hey guys i have a Boss rt3 8.2 v-plow! When i plug the power wires in the plow motor keeps running and the wires get really hot! Nothing functions when plugged in! I also used 2 different controllers to see if it was that! I am new to Boss plows and not sure what to do here!!! Thanks guys!

Did you do anything new to the truck?

A Defective solenoid would be first on my list.

    Yes,
Follow the power cable back towards the battery ,you’ll run into it .
It looks like a starter solenoid .
that would be my first stop.

on the plow valves, those are coils.
    When energized they actuate a valve/function .

My plow did the same thing last year and it was the solenoid. Hope this helps you.
