Ok guys I had a myers that was soooo rusty it broke on me while i was doin my last job last winter. I got rid of it and now I am looking for a boss plow. I have no money at them moment but i am working my tail off. I get like $400 after the first of the year, I'll get my christmas money, I have a 89 f250 that is forsale for $1000 as is or $1500 when fixed..it needs a battery, clutch bled and right front brake line changed., I have some paintball guns and equipent, I prolly have more that i can sell or trade but yea. I need a boss plow, I really want a boss v or boss v-XT but a straight would do. Any ideas how to get the money for a v-xt? If anyone has one and is interested in what i got I would be willing to trade. I am in NW OH

    Pleas help mexysport

What are you good at? Ask around diff construction sites for cash money at the end of the day. V XTs are going to be expensive.

Business 101...........Get an affordable and reliable used Boss Straight blade for this year....make your money and sell it next fall and upgrade to a V-XT.

If you can scrape up the money now that's great....otherwise take it in steps.

For what its worth the mounting/truck side is the same for both straight and V blades. Start with a less expensive straight blade to get you out plowing and keep your eyes open for a good deal on the v plow you want.

x2! Sounds like you simply arnt in a good place for a V-XT, nor do you need it, get a 7.6 or 8ft strait blade and when your finances are right you can sell it and upgrade to a V.

Can I ask what you have for a truck to put it on?

    Craigslist to help sell stuff.

You can find 8' 2" flattop steel Vs fairly cheaply.
