Noticed Boss make a cleaning tool for this. Could I dip the connectors in white vinager and use dialectric grease, instead of buying the tool?

I've used brass wire pipe cleaners and CRC electrical cleaner for years . Even WD-40 with good results. But I did purchase the BOSS tools this season , and they do a good job. You can buy a similar set on Amazon for a little cheaper than BOSS sells theirs for , but not much cheaper.

I also use the CRC to clean and a small brush or q-tip.
do NOT over do the dielectric grease as so many do.
too much kills contact, I only use it on the sleeves themselves.
    Hydromaster and Kingsmen20015 like this.
