New to plow ownership....kind of

Bought a 2017 7'6 standard rt3? last fall. Worked great all 2023/24 season. Had first snowfall this season, hooked up and was able to plow a couple driveways and my office parking lot. worked great.

Until....

I went to unhook it. After unlatching it, I hit the up button on the plow to release from mount. It got to the top, unlatched, and at the same time there was a gush of hyudraulic fluid come from under the cover.

I did top off the fluid before the first plow.

I put it away for the day as I was tired. Now, a day later I though I'd take a peak. I took the black plastic cover off. Tried the hand controller in the cab. left and right work great. I can hear the motor turn on when I hit "up" but plow dont go up? When I hit down button, its dead. no hum, no noise at all.

I checked the fill tube and fluid is visible and appears at the same level as I filled it.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you overfill it?
I used to top off my old boss plow because it always “leaked” just a little and I couldn’t find it. It would run fine whole storm but I’d take it off or stop to piss and see a drop of red fluid somewhere… check for leaks fail to find one, do I’d top it off again before I went back out.

I don’t know exactly when it hit me, but it did 🤣
