so one of my trucks’ plow mounts is really loose. I can move it by hand. Anyone know what kind of hardware boss recommends to use for mounting the push bar to the frame mounts? Quality of bolt? Material? Let me know thank you.

What truck is the plow on? The 8 bolts that mount the pushbeam on the truck are usually grade 5 . They use grade 8 on some of the rear angle supports.

Odly enough the GM has a few grade 8 bolts in the assembly.

Yea , I believe the pushbeams have always been grade 5 , for a shear point I suppose. And the angles on most undercarriages are grade 8 ,for the push support.

You would destroy the plow long before you sheared those bolts. Lol.
