i have a 9 foot straight blade plow for a skid steer that came w a cutting edge that i bolted to the trip edge but the cutting edge only extends past the trip edge by about 1/2 inch.as soon as the 1/2 inch is gone i'll be grinding into my trip edge, could they have given me the wrong cutting edge? this doesn't seem right

If it's a 6" top punch edge (p/n STB03242) then it's the correct one...

The Boss TE's are just like the Fishers, you need to wear the base angle down some before you install the cutting edge.

thanks b&b didn't know that ..this is the first trip edge plow we have used.still seems like after the tripe edge is worn in we won't get alot of use from the cutting edge( like you would on say a meyers)
