Is there any reason why I cant put my Blizzard power plow on my Western MVP ultra mount? The truck side mounts are the same part number, they are both 3 port, 2 plug systems.

No. There is no reason not to.

That's what I thought, I just might have to trim some more plastic for the Blizzard mount adapter.

Dredging up an old thread here...Which model of Blizzard power plow hooks up to the Ultra mount, if this worked out for you?

So the advantage is using your older equipment and wiring without having to scour for an older or used PH1 mount? Interesting. I just picked up another truck w an ultra mount on it. I have push beams and wiring for our PH1 plows.

It just slides into the new frame. I run both sets of wiring on one truck so we can use the spare plow as needed

FS: thumbs up on the multiple series Blizzard setup. For those who might consider doing this, here are a couple questions.

How did you make your end plates? I got the type of steel specced from Blizzard and had a local laser shop cut the pattern from a CAD profile I made by measuring the OEM PH2 end plates.

How did you run your lighting? PH wiring has an OEM adapter to allow it to use a 3-port module system that would easily allow both PH & PH2 systems to be run.

My 1999 narrow super duty mounts may fit without any cutting either by welding or bolting a new and plates.

I have a truck side wiring harness with the iso module that came with a pH one harness. I need to look at that. What adapter is needed for running that with a 2005 Chevy?

There’s one of the two we did. Worked great as I picked up two trucks that just happened to have ultra mounts on them already. Keep telling myself it’s time to update plows but these keep working.

Harness p/n 28253. It can be purchased separately or as part of harness kit 29048.
Your used stuff should include B29680 & B29681 that are the only two parts needed to run a 3-port module system with PH1.
