Betcha you get a big pile of gravel at the end of your run! This plow is used as a grader with the optional lock during the off season.

    810 and gravel

I use my 810 on alot of asphalt. It is the best, most efficient plow I have ever used.

I also use my 810 on gravel. It is the best, most efficient plow I have ever used.

It takes a little finesse on gravel. The skids (IMO) don't help much until the big freeze. You are better off feathering the plow when you hear the "grind". I always plow with my windows open, slow speed on gravel. I can tell when a little lift is necessary.

I have the older 810, the wings are hydraulic in and out. I rarely back blade in gravel with the wings out. If I do, I jump out and clean any gravel that could be sucked in prior to retracting the wings.

The 810 will get the job done faster than any 8' on the market. Just know the plow. Any plow can be a pita if you abuse it. Use it, take care of it, and it will save you alot of time.
